Welcome to Södermalm, Stockholm’s hipster neighborhood.

In this tour of the southern island of Stockholm, we’ll focus on cultural topics, ranging from mythology and religion to art and society. We begin with Viking mythology and how it has influenced today’s society, discuss literature and Nordic noir, and explore the Swedish welfare system. Along the route, we’ll combine the city’s most spectacular viewpoints with cultural themes of Swedish society.

What are the most important Swedish traditions? Why did ABBA become so famous? And why are the Swedes in the forefront of the music industry?

How to find us: we are waiting by the main fountain, with our rainbow umbrella.
Tour duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Mi pareja y yo escogimos este Tour para visitar el centro antiguo de Estocolmo, y fue todo un acierto! El guía Arturo... te sumerge en la historia de Suecia y los países escandinavos desde el primer momento. Es muy agradable y siempre le da ese toque de humor cuando es necesario. Sabe mucho de la historia y responde a todas las preguntas con mucha soltura. Además te enseña rincones ocultos como tiendas o bares que luego puedes pasar a disfrutar por tu cuenta y lo recomiendo! Nos gustó mucho, nos situó la ciudad en la historia (nuestro... guia ARTURO)nos contó muchas cosas de actualidad: políticas, sociales, costumbres... Al día siguiente hicimos otro tour con ellos para conocer el lado mas “oscuro” del barrio. De buenos nuestro guia Arturo, uno de los mejores que he tenido si no el mejor , profundizó dando detalles interesantes sobre la corona, los vikingos y muchas cosas mas. 100% recomendablePor la mañana hicimos el tour de Gamla stan. Nos gustó mucho, nos situó la ciudad en la historia y... Oscar (nuestro guia) nos contó muchas cosas de actualidad: políticas, sociales, costumbres... Por la tarde hicimos otro tour con ellos para conocer el lado mas “oscuro” del barrio. Nuestro guia Arturo, uno de los mejores que he tenido, profundizó dando detalles interesantes sobre la corona, los vikingos y muchas cosas mas. Y terminamos el tour en un pub super chuli!Tienen otro tour a media tarde para conocer el barrio moderno Södermalm. Nosotros ya no tuvimos tiempo para hacerlo pero nos quedamos con las ganas. Los 3 tours son geniales para un fin de semana, Södermalm (viernes tarde), Gamla Stan (sábado mañana) y tour para conocer parte oscura (sábado noche). Y, en nuestro caso, nos quedó el domingo para disfrutar de los museos y el metro. Gracias por enseñarnos la ciudad Rainbow! Lo pasamos genial!read more
