Welcome to Christmas in Stockholm!
During this tour we will tell you about how Swedes celebrate Christmas, from the best known traditions to what they eat at the family Christmas dinner. We will walk through different areas of the city to see the Christmas lights and decorations, and we will end the tour tasting the traditional Glögg wine.
We will be waiting for you at Kulturhuset in Sergels torg, next to the lower floor entrance. We will go through the NK Christmas window display and Kunsträdgården’s ice rink, the royal theater to learn about the heartfelt story of Margareta Krook, continuing through Normalmstorg square. We will head towards Gamlastan to see the biggest Christmas tree in Sweden and continue with Christmas stories. We will tell you about how Swedes celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas day and unique stories such as Julbocken, Santa Lucia, and Donald Duck!
We will finish the tour with a sample of Glögg and gingerbread cookies, that are included in the booking.
